Debate:
Title IX is a long lasting
debate. All schools, universities, and colleges that are funded by the
government must have an equal amount of male sports and female sports.
Many schools have had to cut male sports out because they could not find
a female equivalence. People have debated on ending this law for those
reasons. “Panelists reported instances of colleges and universities
dropping
men’s sports programs in order to reach Title IX compliance under the
proportional representation.”
"At the University of Minnesota, some argue Title IX has kept new men’s
sports from developing." -MnDaily.com
In 1972 the debate was whether women were strong enough to handle physical activities such as basketball or if they should just stay at home.

Diplomacy:
Title IX's diplomacy is that it
became a law that would negotiate between the two groups of people,
people who were for women playing sports and those who were against it.
